System Requirements and Flexibility
Each file is delivered in standard Microsoft Word (.docx) format, adhering fully to universal XML document protocols.- Microsoft Ecosystem
Fully optimised for Word versions 2007 right through to 2024 across Windows, Mac, and mobile devices. - Open-Source and Free Platforms
Enjoy flawless cross-compatibility with alternative suites without formatting errors. If you don't have Microsoft Word installed, use Microsoft 365 (formerly Office Online) or one of the Microsoft Office alternatives FreeOffice TextMaker, LibreOffice Writer, Google Docs and others, which are all free of charge (OpenOffice Writer unfortunately has formatting problems when opening our calendars). - Older Software Versions
If you are running legacy packages (such as Word 2000, XP, or 2003), the templates can be easily converted via a file converter or accessed via browser-based office tools.
How to open and print these templates in Google Docs
Download the .docx file first. Then either drag it into Google Drive, right-click it and choose Open with → Google Docs, or open Docs and go to File → Open → Upload. The template keeps its layout, and you can type into the days exactly as you would in Word.To print from Docs, go to File → Print and check that the page orientation matches the template you chose — File → Page setup changes it if it doesn't. Because the file sits in Drive, you can share it with a team or a family and everyone works on the same template.
